A call to contribute to the great collective!STAFFING FIRMS, EMPLOYMENT AGENCIES, CONSULTING FIRMS, HEADHUNTERS: The good ones have great job opportunities, treat you well, pay you accurately (and on time) and you generally can’t recommend them highly enough. The bad ones, well they waste your time, treat you like a commodity, pay you low (if they remember to pay you at all) and generally look for any opportunity to give you a raw deal. Well now it is time to root out the despicable and applaud the admirable. It is our hope that this site will promote those staffing firms that treat their people right, while flagging those to be wary of or downright avoid. Perhaps together we can weed out the bad ones and showcase the good ones. And for those in between we can show them what we like and don’t like about what they do, and perhaps help them to get even better. Ok, so why Soup?Hmm, well think of it this way, the most basic reason we work is to put food on our tables. And most of us like soup. I know I love soup and in fact am thinking about having some as I write this. But I need to get back to the point. Most people love soup. Some people have it lots, some just have it when they are sick, some have it when camping, around a crackling fire, some on a cold winter evening and some have cold soup on a hot day, to start their lunch. Anyhow, I hope there is one soup, of some kind, somewhere that you like so you can relate to the rating scheme we’ve used. The real question therefore is how much soup is your employer – or staffing firm, (however you want to look at it) – worth? You have 5 bowls of soup to give away in each of the seven categories key to evaluating a staffing firm. If they’re really good, give them 4 bowls, if they’re really bad don’t give them any, and if they’re above and beyond, well then you may just decide they are worth a mighty 5 Bowls of Soup! Ok, so it could have been five stars, five thumbs-up or five anythings, but soup just seems like a good idea. We hope you agree, or at least can live with it. The most important thing is that we collect our experiences of staffing firms together and see how the soup turns out. So please think carefully before deciding, who will you give soup to? Sorry, shouldn’t that be; to whom will you give your soup? All the best www.ReviewMyRecruiter.com www.5BowlsofSoup.com |
